Games Week

We have a number of events planned for Games week (16th - 22nd July).

Sunday 16th July

The Mull Highland Games Art Prize Exhibition Opening and Prize Giving Ceremony will be held in the Western Isles Hotel at 6pm. The art works are being kindly exhibited by the hotel until the 29th of July.

Tuesday 18th July

From 7:30pm to 9pm An Tobar will present the National Theatre of Scotland's touring production of 'Thrown', at the Mull Theatre. the story of five wildly different women who gather in the muddy fields of the Highland Games circuit, ready to compete in the obscure art of Backhold Wrestling....

Wednesday 19th July

From 7:30pm to 9pm there is another chance to see 'Thrown' at the Mull Theatre. You can buy tickets here.

The Neil MacEachern Ceilidh band will also be performing at MacGochans from 9pm until midnight.

Thursday 20th July

The Day of the Games! You can see the rundown of events here. Events include a children's historical pageant, live music, children's theatre workshop, stalls, a bouncy castle, ceilidh and the competitions themselves!

Friday 21st July

A social gathering for members and patrons of the Games will be held at the Western Isles Hotel from 7pm.
