On The Day
The event starts at Ledaig car park on Tobermory Main Street at approximately 10:00, with a march led by the pipe band through the town and up to Erray Park where the games will commence at approximately 10:30.
Please purchase tickets for entry at the golf course. You can purchase your tickets on the day and do not need to make reservations in advance. You can see the price list here.
The Route March
The pipe band and Highland procession that marches up to the field on Games Day is a traditional spectacle that's hard not to follow and definitely not to be missed.
It begins at Ledaig Car Park where you can leave your vehicles. Note that there is no parking available at, or near, the Golf Course where the Games are held so either head up on foot - ideally following the marching band - or take a taxi or shuttle bus if one is available.
The band assembles from 9:30 and the march proceeds from approximately 10am.
The route follows Tobermory Main Street then up the Back Brae, past the Western Isles Hotel, on to Western Road, then along Erray Road to the field.
Facilities
There is no public parking available at the Games Field. Please arrive on foot or via local taxi or shuttle service if available, and note that the shuttle service is not provided by the Games.
There will be a local producers market offering a range of food and drink items. There will also be a catering tent, barbecue, licensed beer and whisky tent as well as public toilets.
There is also a tent for members of Clan MacLean.
There is no seating provided on the upper field so you may want to consider bringing rugs or blankets, as well as foldable chairs. The event is also mostly open air so weather-dependent you might want to bring appropriate clothing and rainwear if needed.

In case we haven't stressed it enough, our Games are entirely run by volunteers and we need as much support as we can get. If you think you might be able to help us putting up the tents, taking down the tents, running the stalls, managing the website and social media, etc, please see our volunteering page.
