However, the judges also selected 2D entries for submission to the inaugural Highland Art Prize exhibition and competition as part of the Royal National Mòd which took place in the Autumn at the City Contemporary Art Gallery in Perth.
The Highland Art Prize awarded a cash prize of £1,000 for the winning artwork
The theme for the 2022 competition was ‘Island Gatherings’.
The categories for entry were:

All entries were delivered to Tobermory by Friday 8th July for display around the town from 11th – 21st July. Entries could be offered for sale subject to the wishes of the artist, with sales being completed after judging.
All entries were to be ready for hanging/display, labelled with the artist’s name, age, the artwork’s title and sale price if applicable.
